Count down for the Maldives Travel awards have been kicked off on www.visitmaldives.com by Hon. Ahmed Adeeb Abdul Gafoor, Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture today.  The countdown was launched at the Maldives stand at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) which is being held in Dubai from 6-9th May 2013.

Maldives is gearing up to host the World Travel Awards Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony at Paradise Island Resort & Spa, on the evening of the 12th of May 2013.  A colourful event with performances by local artists will be covered live on VTV.
