We are pleased to inform that Ministry of Tourism is conducting a survey of all the tourism related establishments in the Maldives. The primary objective of this survey is to collect employment data of all resorts, hotels, safari vessels, guest houses and travel agencies in the Maldives to understand the current human resource situation in the sector.

It is essential to establish this baseline data for the entire tourism related establishments as we are also in the process of creating an HR database for the tourism industry. Hence, you are kindly requested to submit the employees’ information in the attached format by email to iitr@tourism.gov.mv  by 31^st August 2015. We would like to assure you that, the information we receive from individual establishments will be treated confidential and only aggregated tourism sector data will be used. We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that your support and cooperation in providing accurate data is very important for us as this information will assist in future planning.
